Modafino is a luxury hair care brand lead by master stylist Tommy O, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, with over 30 years of experience in the salon industry. He has spent his career working with some of the most innovative and talented stylists in the world, including the hair and makeup department of Universal Pictures, and for salons such as Giuseppe Franco Salon in Beverly Hills. He has taken these experiences to create his own line of all-natural, organic products which provide exceptional results and have a minimal impact on the environment.
the early years
Growing up among entrepreneur parents who opened their own salon in the Midwest, he was immersed in the business from a young age. Finding his own passion for the hair industry, Tommy decided to venture into all facets of hair design himself.
He studied at Vidal Sassoon and many other top hair design schools in the country. After receiving his license, he moved West to study trends, develop skills and learn new techniques and styles.
This ambition gave him the opportunity to journey to Los Angeles and eventually work side by side with some of the most innovative and talented stylists in the world.
Today & tomorrow
With his visionary phrase “Always Stunning, Never Artificial,” the vision of Modafino’s founder was to bridge the gap between how we look on the outside and how we feel on the inside.
The entire Modafino corporate team works in an open concept office, designed in the image of Silicon Valley startups, to develop their haircare, skincare, hair color, and groundbreaking new technological patents on beauty-industry devices.
From styling products that perform multiple functions to patented devices that will change the way you buy haircare products to handheld and color technology that will change the way you think about your salon.
